The character dynamics between her and Cardan as well as the interactions she has with her foster father, Madoc are exceptional. One the second instalment of the series the political intrigues, the scheming and the betrayals inside the Court reach their peak and we witness Jude struggling to maintain the power that she so relentlessly fought for in “The Cruel Prince”.
